We came on Friday for dinner and what a fabulous night. We were very pleasantly surprised with a great cocktail list and a great selection of wines by the glass. The menu is also excellent, it was one of the best dinners we’ve had out in a really long time. It’s right up there with Auckland restaurants, just priced better. It was so good we went back again the next night with friends. If you’re in Kerikeri Kai Mata is a must visit.

Absolutely loved our dinner here and will definitely become regulars. Their menu is fit for all diets (delicious dairy free or vegetarian options aren't easy to find in the far north) without sacrificing quality or taste. Roslyn was welcoming from the moment we arrived and the staff were all super helpful and kind. Thank you for an amazing evening, can't wait to come back again soon :)

A real Melo Melo gem in the middle of nowhere. It’s not a cheap place, but it’s worth every penny. The design, table setting, and serving dishes are all 5/5. I’m not a big fan of paella, but all the other dishes were excellent—entrées, mains, and desserts were delicious. Overall, only positive emotions. Highly recommended.

Impressed by the service AND food!! It was unexpected little find! We had the duck and the sirloin for mains, with The focaccia bread to start - Roslyn was the best waitress and had some fabulous humour. Sad we only found this little gem on our last night - but we know where to come when we are back on the next work trip. Thanks for a great experience!! Highly recommend this place 100%!

We enjoyed an absolutely fabulous meal here! The service was fantastic, and the restaurant itself was a beautiful little oasis! Food was divine! Our table ordered practically the whole menu and enjoyed every bite! The food was fresh, flavourful and arrived so quickly! The Ika Mata was a highlight! Well worth a trip back up to Kerikeri just to dine here again!
